Emotionally powerful dramatic film in which an elderly patient in a nursing home recalls the scope of her life (presented in flashback) from childhood to old age. She pleads eloquently that we look beyond the informities of her old age and see her--not simply as a crabbed old woman who dribbles her food, but as someone who has lived fully and loved deeply.
