Kenya Boran

Documents, focusing on two fathers and their sons, the effects of mechanization, modern education, and the central government as they reach a formerly isolated village in northern Kenya. Contrasts the lives of a Boran herdsman who keeps his son home to tend cattle with that of a town family that attempts to assimilate new ways and sends their son to school. Shows the conflict between old and new ways and leads to speculation on the outcome of the society's choices.
