Description: Explains that electrons have the same electrical charge (E) to mass (M) ration (E/M) regardless of the element from which they derive. Shows a simple method for measurement of the charge to mass ration of an electron, using a cathod-ray tube, simulating the experiment performed by J J Thompson whereby he first established E/M of electrons work for which he won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1906.
