Description: Chronicles the life, times, and musical styles of Antonio Vivaldi. Traces the early 20th century rediscovery of the music of Vivaldi, the 18th century violinist/composer who vanished into obscurity shortly after his death. Visits the scenes of Vivaldi's youth and maturity, from St. Peter's Church where he was ordained a priest at age 25 to the girls' orphanage where he taught violin and premiered his compositions. Includes excerpts from his concertos, masses, operas, and sonatas, recreating the opulent settings in which the originals would have taken place. Features Corey Cerovsek as the young Vivaldi and Steven Staryk as the adult Vivaldi.
