Newborn

Documents the neonatal research of Drs. Berry Brazelton, Lewis Lipsitt, and Louis Sanders on the responses and reflexes present in newborn babies. Begins with a natural childbirth sequence and then demonstrates laboratory tests run to show the newborn's instinctive reflexes which will be used later for crawling, walking, and exploring. Records the infant's highly developed responses to light, sound, and taste. Examines the cultural responses between mother and child in several different countries and recommends that mother and baby not be separated after birth.
