Description: Forms of different shapes and colors running around a circular treadmill, in order to demonstrate styles of animation. A light-hearted appreciation of the principle of viewing movement originally studied by Eadweard Muybridge. Using a cycle of eight drawings, Griffin pans a line-up of animated runners, among them a small army of spear-carrying waiters, an amorphous red blob, a cartoon character and a mechanical man.
