A portrait of the author of Alice in Wonderland that reveals little-known aspects of this solitary genius. Uses excerpts from the Carroll letters and diaries combined with photos that Carroll took of the little girls who inspired his literary outpourings, to present the life of a man caught in the straitjacket of Victorian England.
