Description: Deals with the quantity and quality of the Nation's land, labor, capital, and managerial talent on which business is dependent in providing goods and services. ; Outlines the nation's wealth in terms of its resources--not only gifts of nature, but capital, laborers, and entrepreneurs as well. Points to two neighboring areas of Texas, similar in size and population, the one a poor area, the other highly productive. The difference lies in the relative amounts of capital present--not only tools and facilities, but human skill and know-how. Money is shown to represent only command over capital. The force which can attract investment proves to be the entrepreneur, who can blend together land, labor, and capital to create desirable goods and services.
