Description: Uses cinemacrography, stop-action and time-lapse sequences, and animation to define and describe the functions of a fly's anatomy. Demonstrates the various body parts, such as wings which move 200 times a second, legs, feet, eyes, and mouth. Explains that by living off garbage and animal waste, flies pick up germs and become disease carriers to other organisms, including people. Observes female flies laying their eggs and watches as the eggs metamorphose into adult flies.
