The Development Of Bacteriophage Plaques

Uses time-lapse photography to show how the developing bacterial carpet of Escherichia coli is attacked by bacteriophage particles resulting in the formation of holes or plaques. Explains that a plaque count is a means of estimating the number of bacteriophage particles ina suspension.
