Complete Record: Synopsis: Portrays an intellectually gifted, maladjusted boy who experiences frustration and harassment in the school system. Deals with “problems, prejudices, solutions.” See part two for continuing narrative/conclusion. Content: XCU of a man’s face, “sit-down, or shut up!” LS of boy alone in hallway MS teacher lectures boy about “society” LS boy shoves another teacher MS boy in office, talks to mom on phone. Secretary calls his mom on phone. XCU’s of (multiple) teachers heads with secretary on the loud speaker. Principle talks with boy. Weird office scene with all of boys teachers, transforms into a strange kind of courtroom reenactment. Great sound bites about “problem child” by a voice of authority. Teachers give monologues in “testimony” about problem child with flashbacks to classroom dialogues/experiences with boy. (Retro funny).
