We're doing a street survey and I would like to ask your opinion on the relationship of the United States and Red China. Do you think that the United States and the Chinese will ever be friends? >> Yes. >> Do you really? >> Yes. >> What do you think we could do to be really friendly with the Chinese? share our toys and share food. >> Share toys and food. What kind of toy would you share? >> A fire engine. >> Uh-huh. What kind of food would you share with them? >> Macaroni. >> Macaroni. Would you suppose there were some Chinese boys and girls who would be afraid to be friends with us? How could we make them not afraid? >> Play with them. >> Oh, and then you don't become afraid when you play with them. Hello, Grandma. >> Hope is when love waits. 50,000 workers refused to cross the picket line. And so in the meantime, violence related to the walkout continues. And so do layoffs and plants produced another high across the nation today. And it was charged that these corporations set artificially high prices to the consumer. Earlier today, authorities identified a suspect in the shooting death of two policemen. The slain officers, both in their 20s, were ambushed when they answered in a closed session today. The congressional committee is still arguing over the $22 billion weapons bill for new strategic missiles. With the capability of destroying an enemy in less than 47 minutes after they are launched.
