People Are Different And Alike (1989)

hahaha a parade is fun to be in and a parade is fun to watch what makes a parade fun [Music] parade needs people a lot of different people different costumes doing different things is that what makes parades fun people who are different or is it people who are alike that make a parade fun people who dress alike or March alike people who belong to the same group well whose families came from the same parts of the world what makes a parade fun who are alike or people who are different well the fact is even when people seem alike they're different and even when people seem different they're alike just watch you'll see just listen and you'll understand let's look at some of these people while they were getting ready for the parade and listen to what they have to say about being different and about being alike people in the same family are alike aren't they the people in my family are all different and somewhat similar I like to sing my sister doesn't she likes to dance all of us are right-handed I'm used to wear classes well my dad has classes like I do and my aunt she's like my mom sometimes she wears the same clothes as my mom they have the same color of hair and their eyes are the same color my dad he's the same as me because we're both chubby they say me and my aunt got the same ears and me and my mom kind of kind of don't have the same personality even in a family where people are alike in some ways each person is different in some ways too because each person is special being alike helps make people part of one family but being different is what makes each person in the family special different and alike alike and different even in one family [Music] let's get him down here come on everybody but friends they're alike aren't they my friend Jennifer um well we're best friends and she has long hair down to there and her hair is frustrated Noodle and I've got short hair down to here and we always disagree on some stuff and where I like on some stuff like she likes to play hopscotch and I like to play kicklers so they're friends but they're different sometimes we agree on them and they're friends because they're alike alike and different and alike both likenesses and differences can make people friends but even friends can have their differences [Music] have it her way and I don't like that and I disagree and she always gets mad if I don't let her do something or something like that friends can be alike in so many ways but it's the ways that they're different that make friends special different and alike alike and different even among friends oh this one's really nice and pretty he did a good job but people in a special group they're all alike aren't they um what I feel about belonging to this group is that I can talk to my friends and I feel like I fit in they seem to be alike some people don't like to listen to the leaders and play around pay attention you're in space somewhere like if Tim tells us to go make up a step and then some people want to do something and the other people want to do something they try to combine it together then it gets all cluttered up because people are different they have different ideas sometimes different ideas cause problems but different ideas can also help make a group better even if people in a group are alike in many ways the ways that they're different can help you make special friends every year I feel kind of queasy because I'm afraid nobody will like me and after you're in a group you know it's a group of friends nobody's out to hurt you they're all with you and it's a lot of fun doing these activities together and it's fun to find out um that a lot of different people can do a lot of the same things together and have a lot of fun foreign [Music] and people are alike playing together working together parading together or just living together people find they are all alike in so many ways they are alike because they all need the same things [Music] everybody needs tend to Loving Care and love and Friends parents take care of them all people need family all people need love people need friendships all people need here all people want to feel wanted in some ways we're all different alike in some ways we're all alike it's the ways we are alike that bring us together it's the ways we're different that make us special people are different and people are alike different and alike [Music] people can be in ah shapes and sad this question has their own likes and dislikes and no people are the same they pick different friends like some people may not like this person but the other person does a lot of people have their own opinions about certain things and they don't agree on stuff I think there are different and alike some people like the same thing and some people don't like the same thing they have different colors of hair they wear different clothes they have different personalities they have different sense of humors and they don't have the same first names they have different schools I think they're um different because they're Smiles they have different smiles they're different from their hearts people have bigger Hearts than other people that looks different some people are girls it's some people are boys some people are older than the others I think they're more alike because most people have friends everybody in the world making friends they act like they sing alike everyone's alike in different ways I think people are like because sometimes they got same here same eyes and the same color of skin everybody's in different religions and some people have glasses and some people don't some people wear contacts and and also people are all special to different people in a different way if everybody were like it would be weird even twins are like I don't think it's very very much fun if everybody was alive it's more fun that people are different if you're different you're more special to somebody else I think there are people alike because everybody in this world human beings so that's how I feel that people are like oh [Music]
