Description: Intercutting between past and present, fiction and reality, the film explores the events surrounding the filmmaker's rape while in boarding school and its subsequent effects upon her. In reflective exchanges among the actors and Coolidge, insights emerge concerning the adolescent male obsession with the act of achievement rather than sexual satisfaction, the guilt suffered by the girls and the emotional block toward men that may last for years. A moving examination of a painful subject and adolescent attitudes about sex and male/female relationships.
