This is a restoration by David Shepard of the original 1922 Film, with a new musical score by Stanley Silverman. Made by International Film Sem , Record of a perilous way of life, this is Robert Flaherty's well-known documentary of the Eskimo hunter Nanook and his family, whose entire energies are spent in the endless, often ingenious quest for food.
