A film in which Landow stages a surreal nightmare of authoritarian institutional testing. As the droning hierarchical voice intones the imperatives to mark certain objects in a picture of a room with specified numbers, artist Art Gauer finds himself inside the picture. Landow parallels the absurd contradictions and paradoxes of test-taking with paradoxical spatial relationships.
