Samuel Langhorne Clemens (Mark Twain), as an author, lecturer, humorist and newspaperman, caught the public fancy and created immortal literary culture that’s part of the American heritage. At the peak of his prominence, Mark Twain built himself and his family a home in Hartford, Connecticut, of Victorian splendor and near-perfect domestic tranquility. E.G. Marshall tours the house and gives viewers an insight into Twain’s life and writings. The tour is liberally flavored with samples of Twain’s wit, and the use of photographs, of the writer’s times.
