Description: Continues his exploration of the possibilities film offers for the creation of paradoxes through spatial ambiguity. Haxton paints the outlines of a room over a geometric landscape, then draws a cube within the room. His use of string deployed in three dimensions, and of color negative film to confuse our perception of depth, creates a surprising and magical work.
