Jack of hearts

At the annual ballet recital, Elizabeth, much to her chagrin, is cast in the part of the boy. The other girls in the ballet class ridicule her; her parents are unsympathetic. Only her free-spirited Aunt Eadie seems to understand. On the night of the recital, Elizabeth chastises the audience, shouting I'm not a boy, can't you see? I'm a girl! Eadie takes Elizabeth under her wing, and by teaching her how to play poker, helps her come to terms with her own self-confidence.
