Description: A 20th Century-Fox production available only to schools. "These are scenes in the De Beers open diamond mine in South Africa and in a diamond polishing center. The pictures of the actual securing of the diamonds from the ore, and of the polishing of the stones, are not as complete as they might be. Nevertheless, this is rather comprehensive pictures of a little known industry and should prove quite valuable in the selection of diamond mining or diamond geography, grades 4 through 12."
