An Italian folktale about a poor juggler who returns in his old age to the city of his birth, where he takes refuge in the church on Christmas Eve. He offers his only gift to a statue of the Christ Child and a miracle occurs. Based on a story by Tomie de Paola., An elderly Franciscan priest, once a successful juggler, has no tangible gift for the Holy Child and cannot join the procession. Later he enters the church alone and performs his most famous act as his gift. An animated story based on the book by Tomie de Paola.
