Cattle Ranch

Describes life on a Canadian cattle ranch from calving in April to the round-up of stragglers in November. Accompanied by the background refrain of "Get Along Little Doggies" and "Come a Tiyi-Yipi-Yipi-Aye," the spring round-up, branding and the resulting confusion as two hundred mothers seek their calves are shown. Portrays the life of the cowboy during the summer months. concludes with a snowy scene in which stragglers are rounded up, and moved with the herd to lower, more sheltered areas., Depicts the life of the cowboy on a ranch in British Columbia through the various activities from spring to winter. Sequences of the birth of a calf and the necessary branding of the cattle are included. Music is by American folk singer, Pete Seeger.
