[Laughter] Apes. [Music] There are many kinds of apes. Chimpanzees, gibbons, gorillas. They're all apes. So is the [Music] orangutang. Like all apes, it doesn't have a tail. Like most apes, the orangutang spends lots of time in the [Music] trees. Apes are really very intelligent. Only people are more intelligent than apes are. Apes can hold things with their hands pretty much like you can. They can hold things with their feet, too, because an ape's feet and hands are very much alike. [Music] [Music] [Music] Apes grow up to be very [Music] strong. But even though they're strong, orangutang are very shy and peaceful animals. [Music] A mother ape and her baby will stay together for several years. That's longer than most young animals stay with their [Music] mothers. A mother ape has to teach her baby just about everything. The baby even has to learn how to eat fruits and vegetables the way mother does. [Music] Orangutang usually build simple nests. Every night when the sun sets, they climb up a tree to build a nest and go to sleep. Safe in their nest in the trees, they'll sleep until the sun rises again on another day. Apes [Music] [Music]
