This fine Polish picture depicts the uprising of the young Polish students in that part of Poland that was under the Tsarist Russian Rule. These uprisings happened between the years 1885 to 1900, and the picture especially deals with the uprising of the students against the barring and teaching of Polish history and the Polish language in the Russian schools. The story is interesting, the photography good, and the enunciation fine, including the acting of individuals as well as the mob scene, and the fact that it is true to facts, should appeal to the patriotic instinct of all Poles, and should be seen at every Polish community in the United States. (Recommended for curriculum enrichment.)
