Warns against the danger of humans contracting hydatids through the careless handling of sheep and dog. Explains how, by eating offal from infected animals, the dog becomes the carrier of the disease between sheep and man. The disease my be prevented from spreading by boiling sheep offal prior to feeding to dogs, by carefully washing all vegetables to be eating raw by keeping the dog outside the home and car and by giving the dog regular medical examinations.
