Description: This docu-drama for children is designed to present protective, assertive skills and their application to personal safety situations, including the prevention of sexual assault. It helps children indentify the difference between nurturing and exploitive touch. 10-year-old David awakens one morning with an unexplained problem, but is unable to confide it to his parents. With help from two friends on his baseball team, David learns assertiveness skills in dealing with everyday challenges. Encouraged by these lessons, David confronts his Uncle Jim who has touched his private parts and informs his parents about the abuse. In the playground, David employs his newly-found resources to resist the pressures of two bullies.
