With All Deliberate Speed

Recreates the situation in Clarendon County, South Carolina, in which Reverend J.A. DeLaine, a Black minister, and J.W. Waring, a white judge, suffered persecution for trying to upgrade Black schools. Documents the court process that begins with Thurgood Marshall's case for the desegregation of Clarendon County Schools. Notes that the case went on to the Supreme Court where it joined other cases to form the Brown vs. Topeka decision ordering desegregation "with all deliberate speed."
