Wildlife of the Mountains

The wild life to be found in the spectacular mountain landscape of the Waitaki water-shed in the South Island of New Zealand. Alpine flowers, native birds, and their nests, deer and fawns, the salmon coming up the river to spawn are among the beautiful creatures in this wild and isolated area.
