Description: Shows through an animated cartoon how increased wages based on increased productivity bring about increased purchasing power. Joe, a worker in a doll company, gets a wage increase, only to find that prices have also risen. He is shown that it is the cost of labor rather than of raw materials which causes high prices. He concludes that increased productivity would result in lower costs, and devises a method for painting four dolls at once. This results in a lower price for the dolls.
