Why Appeasement

Describes the period in 1938 when Hitler demanded a portion of Czechoslovakia and Great Britain's Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain, eager to avoid war, gave him what he wanted. Tells how Germany absorbed all of Czechoslovakia and invaded Poland, leading to war with Britain.
