Re-enacts 'THE LAST LESSON' by Alphonse Daudet and brings out to students the importance of getting a good education while they still have an opportunity. Deals with a reluctant school boy in Alsace-Lorraine attending the last day of school before the Germans take over and how he realizes too late that he has missed classes, failed to study and otherwise made poor use of his chance to learn.
