Description: An advertisement for Westinghouse Empress Laundromat and Dryer in which spokesperson, Betty Furness, gives a through description of the compact 25-inch washer machine and dryer. Advertisement starts with an image of the New York City skyline with test reading, "BIG NEWS FOR NEW YORK.". The spokesperson discusses the challenges of living in a small apartment but the new Westinghouse machines are smaller and can stack. She ends by saying, "You can be sure, if it's Westinghouse."
