Description: Unable to decide on his future, Wee Gillis spends two years living with his relatives. The first year is spent with an uncle in the Lowlands where he learns how to herd cows. The next year is spent with an uncle in the Highlands where he is taught to stalk stags. When the boy must finally make a decision, each uncle tries to persuade him to follow their way of life. Fortunately fate intervenes in the guise of a bagpipe player. This live-action film was adapted from the book by Munro Leaf and Robert Lawson.
