Depicts care of retarded children at the Plymouth State Home and Training Center, which is designed to look like a home rather than an institution and has as its goal preparing the children for return to the outside world. Shows several children, some motor handicapped, some blind, and what is being done to help them find 'a way out of the wilderness.'
