At 0:29, title card and animated maps showing the District of Columbia: "The Capital City was located near the fall line on the Potomac." At 1:14 the Great Falls of the Potomac are shown followed by a map of the city at 1:55. At 2:49 the Capitol building is shown on Capitol Hill. At 3:15, the Library of Congress is shown followed by the Court of Neptune Fountain. At 3:53, the Old Post Office Building is shown along Pennsylvania Avenue. At 4:21, New Jersey Avenue and other streets are highlighted on the map, followed by the Columbus Memorial Union Station, the railroad depot shown at 4:57. The Treasury Building is shown at 5:20, followed by the War Department and Navy Building. The White House is shown at 6:12. At 7:00, the Washington Monument looms in the distance and there are views of Ellipse. At 7:29, a baseball game is played on the ellipse. At 7:45 the Corcoran Gallery is shown on the map and at 8:16 the Pan American Union building. At 8:55, map of the Mall, and mention of the Smithsonian building and the Museum of Natural History with its dinosaur display at 10:17. At 11:10 the Washington Monument is shown along with the reflecting pool. At 12:25, an aerial view of the reflecting pool and Lincoln Memorial followed by shots of the Lincoln Memorial.
