Description: Follows Charles Collingwood as he visits the New York Polyclinic Technical School to watch an operation on the middle ear to restore the hearing of a patient whose ability to hear clearly was greatly diminished. Depicts pre-operational testing, removal of the stirrup to release the fixation, and the insertion of a plastic tube which restores hearing to normal.
