Voice Cries Out

Probes beneath the splendor of Florence to uncover the corruption and greed of the medieval ruling family, the Medici. Maintains that the myth of the glory of Florence is due largely to the writings of Goethe, Shelley, Byron, Gibbon, and Montesquieu. Recreates the Pazzi conspiracy of April 1478, to show the decay and greed which were a part of court life of the period.
