Description: Demonstrates a vitrectomy with removal of clear anterior vitreous and cutting of posterior vitreous bands exerting traction on the retina. Shows how the contracting preretinal membranes are peeled off the retinal surface lacing only stumps of small proliferative stalks, pointing out that the final vision in the eye was as good as the postoperative vision.
