Complete Record: A documentary short film about Henry Ford's Greenfield Village, part ofTthe Edison Institute, where Ford moved historical buildings. A sequence of interior shots of artifacts, a general store from 1857 with stock and equipment. the schoolhouse Ford attended as a boy, with old McGuffey's readers, still used during the time of filming. Logan County Courthouse and the chair in which President Abraham Lincoln was asassinated is shown. A church built of bricks from Mrs. Ford's "girlhood home." Thomas Edison's laboratory and original equipment is also filmed. "Learning to do by doing," children run the old silk mill and the weaving shed at the institute to learn by doing.
