Complete Record: A space liner brings passengers to a huge orbiting space platform. A master of ceremonies introduces that most interesting of words, the VERB and hastens viewers on the exhibitions. Station One reveals that verbs change: they may change endings, they may change use helpers, or they may have totally irregular forms. At Station Two, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson solve the mystery of the infamous Mystery of the S-Form Verbs. Station Three introduces well known HELPERS, sometimes known as AUXILIARY VERBS. A time machine at Station Four shows how the “ed” ending gives a look at the past and “will”, a verb helper, gives a look at the future. Finally, on Station Five’s talk show, Dr. Ernest Verbose, Verbologist, demonstrates his irregular verb machine. Given an irregular verb, the machine not only reveals irregular forms, but has a RIGHT/WRONG SCREEN that displays and corrects typical mistakes.
