Venice in peril

Description: Briefly surveys the history of Venice and explains the cultural value of the city. Shows the subsidence, floods and pollution, and of social and industrial changes which together endanger it’s welfare. The Italian Government, in co-operation with Unesco is working out measures in an attempt to save the city.
