Marines participate in NATO joint training and exercises, Operation Bold Guard/Northern Wedding. USMC Maj. speaks over a microphone at the Hamburg Airport in Germany. USMC LtCol. Austin shakes hands with German officers. German military band plays instruments. Marines receive promotion documents from Gen. A.M. Grey. Gen. Grey and other USMC officers give a briefing within below deck of a ship. A flight deck crew member directs a UH1N helicopter to land on the USS Guadalcanal (LPH-7). MajGen. Gregory Corliss boards CH46 helicopter on the flight deck of the USS Guadalcanal at sea. The USS Seattle (AOE-3) refuels the USS Guadalcanal. Aerial views of the USS Truckee (AO-147) as it prepares to fuel USS Mount Whitney (LCC 20) at sea.
