Description
Marines participate in NATO joint training exercise, Operation Bold Guard/Northern Wedding. M60 tank convoy moves through German streets. M60 tanks, jeeps, 6x6 trucks gather in a field. CH53 and CH46 helicopters prepare to land in a field. Marines disembark CH46 and double time, get into prone firing positions. Marines set up 105 Howitzer. CH53 carries 105 Howitzer by sling. AN/TSG-70A radar in operation. At Vandel AFB (Denmark), A6A and F4J sit parked. A UH1N helicopter lands. German Spahspanzer II 8x8 Armored Amphibious Reconnaissance vehicle moves over roads and navigates open fields. Marines eat ""C"" rations aboard docked ship in Brunsbuttel, Germany (9/5/78). 6x6 trucks in assembly area.
