Description
Marines participate in NATO joint exercises, Operation Bold Guard/Northern Wedding. Marines and an M60 tank a docked LST. LVTP7s move through the surf. On the Shetland Islands, CH53, CHA46A, and UH1N helicopters are seen in flight. Sheep graze and civilians observe military activity. M60 tanks are loaded aboard a railroad flat car. In Brunsbuttel, Germany, a German Spahpanzer II (also known as a Scout Armored Car ""Lynx"") 8x8 amphibious reconnaissance vehicle operates props and splash shield. A German officer gives briefing to Marines about Sp�hpanzer II. A convoy including 155 self-propelled Howitzer recovery vehicles, jeeps, and 6x6 trucks move over hardtop roads. Marines march along sidewalk in a German town.
