Description
Marines participate in desert training, Operation Palm Tree VI-78. Marines march in the desert, get ice from a trailer, aim an unloaded TOW weapon, prepare to fire dragon trainer, load and fire a 105mm Howitzer. LVTP7s, trucks, and mechanical mules move in the desert. LVTP7s park in the desert. Aerial views of Camp Wilson airstrip and tents. Marines of C company, 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion place dud line charge around camp area, unload sandbags from a truck. Recon Marines use rope to tie Swiss seat and rappel from a CH46A.
