USMC 105718 Decade 1960 Date 1969-03-22 Description Marines work on and assemble a partially erected metal bridge over a river. An Eimco bulldozer plows dirt at the end of the bridge. Marines stand near a T-46 type crane as a section of the bridge is moved, and pull a cable from the front of the bulldozer. Marines guide the crane to the bridge. Marines work atop concrete piling and secure supports to the metal framework of the bridge. A crane transports sections of the bridge to working Marines. Marines work in the center of the river as another group of Marines work on a partially assembled bridge on the riverbank. A military personnel truck and civilian car drive across completed bridges.
