USMC 104836 Decade 1950 Description HRS1 airlifts equipment off a ship as part of HELEX IV. Aerial footage rounds the deck of the USS Thetis Bay(CVHA-1). At one point dense black smoke emanates mid-ship from the Thetis Bay. Service members go about duty on deck, pilots climb into the cockpits of HRSs and chat amongst themselves. Marines are gathered at the edge of the flight deck. Aerial footage shows the California coast and portions of Camp Pendleton. A man in a civilian suit is taken into custody at rifle point (M1).
