Description
The film opens aboard LST 341 as U.S. military pushes from Guadalcanal to Vella Lavella. Trucks remove cargo and carry it ashore. A camouflaged tank (undetermined model) delivers several soldiers both American and Australian to a field where they engage in combat. A PFC takes a deep drink of what appears to be a lager. Marines use a tractor to carve out a path in the jungle. Marines fry donuts in oil. Cooks make food.
