Description
Sunset Parade at 8th and I with Scots Guard on October 7, 1955. Scots Guards Band and Pipes and Drums parade and play music. Marine Corps Band and Drum and Bugle Corps, led by Drum Major First Sergeant Edmond DeMar, parade and play music. Marines, color guard, Marine Corps Band, and Drum and Bugle Corps pass in review. The Marine Silent Drill Platoon drills. Lieutenant General Christian F. Schilt and an officer exit a staff car. Unidentified Marine officers and British Marine officers walk and chat. A British officer inspects Marines. A plaque reads, "Semper Fidelis United States Marine Barracks Washington, D.C. Original site occupied since 1801" and has the Marine Corps emblem. Footage of the Union Jack. Content related to USMC 103837.
