Description
Marines on leave and on base in Panama in 1947. Marines play golf and inspect dump car wheels from circa 1885 used by the French on Culebra Hill in their failed attempt to construct a canal connecting the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Footage of ships moving through the Panama Canal, the administration building of the Panama Canal, a building used by the Third Guard Company at U.S. Naval Station Coco Solo C.Z., and the Naval Air Transport Service building at U.S. Naval Station Coco Solo C.Z. Workers load packages onto a Douglas C-54 Skymaster marked Naval Air Transport Service. Marines wearing pith helmets form up. Content related to USMC 103467. Films slated as being made for production MH-6446.
